I grew up in a rural small town in California. I have always been fortunate to have animals in my life. The typical size of dogs that I was raised with were always over 100 pound dogs.
Now that I am married and have started a family of my own. I encourage my children to experience the unconditional love of animals.
I have two sons, and a house full of testosterone and masculinity. Due to that, I decided to embark on a search for a doggie daughter. A daughter that loves to be held, pampered and spoiled. We can play dress up, I can brush her hair and she would love to be cuddled. Unlike my boys!
It was then that I decided to find a Yorkshire Terrier, I fell in love with their beauty and grace. A perfect compromise, a small dainty feminine dog that thinks it is a giant if need be. A little attitude with a lot of class!
At last I found my perfect little Lilly, named after my grandmother. She fit right in with our family.
All of our animals are treated like family, with respect and love.
We also have one cat "Chief" who thinks he is a dog. Seriously!
This is Brisco, he recently passed at the age of 15.
He was the greatest mutt that ever lived.
IN MEMORY OF "BRISCO"

To lose a friend like this hurts deep within the soul. I thank god for blessing me with such a great friend and member of our family.
You will forever be missed, and I cannot wait until we someday meet again.
Guard those pearly gates well my friend!
During my search for Lilly I came across the beautiful "Biewer Yorkshire Terrier a la pom pon"
I immediately fell in love with the extraordinary colors and markings, and I soon found out that there is quite a controversy regarding these gorgeous Biewers.
Many people claim to know the best ways to breed Biewers, or they testify to certain methods of breeding.
I however, believe it takes many generations before there is a known formula to the Biewer breed within each breeders Biewers. There are many breeders with Biewer breeding stock that vary such in color and markings, and it seems that so many have there own personal preference of the breed standard, which is understandable within reason beacause of the extraordinary color and beauty of the Biewer.
However, there is only one official breed standard, documented and recorded by the originators of the Biewer Yorkshire a la pom pon. I think that every breeder should adhere to this standard to the best of their ability, to improve the Biewer and not disgrace the efforts made by quality breeders.
I am currently looking for my perfect Biewer to eventually breed. I have been looking for over two years and am very selective. Some people decide to breed for money, let me assure you that is not my goal. Quality breeders often spend more money on their dogs than they will ever see in return.
We do it for the love of the breed!
As of now I am only planning on having two Biewer females at the most for my breeding program. I would like to concentrate on quality and not quantity. I must make the right decisions in the beginning because this will be their forever home. I also feel that it is important to show Biewers to establish reputable lines as a breeder. The show ring will be a new and exciting experience for me.
We strive to achieve excellence, beauty and improvement within the breed!
